Ama Dablam (6812m.) is the most infamous Himalayan peak for mountaineers. This peak is the most busy peak in the season and the center for mountain climbers. It prides ourselves to inform you that we are going to guide you Ama Dablam expedition in coming season too. We arrange Ama Dablam expeditions guiding service in autumn while most of the offers unless disclosed, we guide in spring, one season a year.

Ama Dablam Expedition

Our Ama Dablam mountaineering expedition caravan route is Lukla, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Pangboche and Ama Dablam Base Camp. Ama Dablam peak lies inside Sagarmatha National Park. Nepal Government declare this park in 1976. Within three years, UNESCO enlisted the park as world natural heritage site. The park is playing prominent role to conserve Himalayan eco system of Khumbu region Nepal. Mount. Everest, the highest peak all over the world lies inside Sagarmatha Nationa Park.

Our most of the caravan route for Ama Dablam expedition lies inside Sagarmatha Nationa Park. During your hiking to and from the base camp, you will have an ample opportunity to observe beautiful Sagarmatha Himalayan ecology. The hiking provide you to see and immerse in the natural beauties, the floras and faunas inside the Sagarmatha National Park. Get enjoy!

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350M/4425FT) (A)
Showing your name board, our airport representative waits in Kathmandu International Airport (TIA). You transfer to hotel, check in and free time. Have enjoy!

Day 2-3: Trip Final Preperation in Kathmandu (A,B)
In the morning, generally at 8 am, Eco-friendly Treks staff come to meet you at your hotel. Please manage to be there at lobby with: (a) your original passport to prepare necessary adventure eco holiday permit/s from the concerned authority, (b) a couple of same passport size photos for permit/s and, (c) Trip final full payment. The staff introduce you with your trip guide at the same time. You have time to interact with your guide, he may check and suggest your trip equipmment and packing for the trip on your interest, please tell us if you like this. The rest of the day, you may buy or hire additional equipment and packing (if necessary). Then, you rest for acclimatization and final preperation for the trip. If you like any additional program for the day, please inform us at the time of mail corresponding.

Day 4: Fly Kathmandu – Lukla (2804M/9192FT) (35MIN.) and trek to Phakding (M): 5-6HRS (A,B,L,D)
We today catch our scenic morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. The flight will take around 40 minutes to reach Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla. Upon arrival at the Lukla Airpot, our guides will brief you and introduce with our porters before we begin our trek to Phakding. Then, we start trekking to Phakding and it takes approx. 5-6 hours to reach there. We stay overnight atguesthouse in Phakding.

Day 5: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3445M/11293FT) 6HRS. (A,B,L,D)
Today, we continue trekking along the banks of Dudh Koshi crossing the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. We then enter into Sagarmatha National Park from where our trail climbs steeply with amazing views. We eventually reach at Namche which is the Gateway to Everest. Overnight at guest house.

Day 6: Rest and Acclimatization Day (A,B,L,D)
Today, we will spend a day in Namche for proper acclimatization in high altitude. We will be exploring the museum and then hike up around Syangboche. And from here, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks. Overnight at guest house.

Day 7: Trek to Pangboche (4000M/13112FT): 4-5HRS. (A,B,L,D)
Our trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of mountains. On reaching Tyanboche we will see the local monastery at the altitude of 3860M. We will also observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning. We stay overnight at guest house.

Day 8: Trek to AMA DABLAM BASE CAMP 7-8HRS. (A,B,L,D)
Day 9-24: Amadablam Climbing Period (A,B,L,D)
During this period, we will ascend up to the summit of Mount Amadablam. The climb period will be determined by the expedition leader and members. We will spend few days at the base camp organizing food and acclimatizing with the altitude. Besides Base Camp, we will set up three other camps for push for the summit. We then return to the Base camp.

Day 25: Trek back to Pangboche (7-8 HRS.) (A,B,L,D)

Day 26: Trek to Namche: 6 HRS.(A,B,L,D)
After the successful climb of Amadablam, we today retrace our trek back to Namche. We stay overnight at hotel.

Day 27: Trek to Lukla(2,880M/9441FT). 6HRS.(A,B,L,D)
We finally return to Lukla where the trek began. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 28: Fly to Kathmandu (A,B,L)
Today, we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.

Day 29: Spare/Leisure Day (A,B)

Day 30: Transfer back to Kathmandu Airport. (B)
