Trip Overview

Annapurna is a Sanskrit word, can be literally translated  as Goddess of the Harvests. Annapurna One (8091m), with pride standing with her sister peak leading Annaurna Himalayan range in Nepal.  Annapurna I  is the 10th highest peak in the Nepal and 13th highest mountain of the globe. Mount Annpurna One is in the western part of Nepal being the Goddess of the Harvest since million years with being the sources of water resources and generating the unique climate surrounding the area. We guide you Annapurna One Expedition, welcome those of you who are interested to be part of the group.

Maurice Herzog from France, scaled to the summing of this more technical Himalayan mountain peak first time in 1950 via North Face. Since then many successful Annapurna One Expedition was operated. Up to now hundreds of mountaineers has succeed to summit through properly guided Annapurna One Expeditions.

Annapurna One Expedition

Our carefully planned Annapurna One Expedition itinerary follow the caravan route of the expedition from From North Face. With caring your acclimatization, our itinerary initially arrange to cross Thorang La (5416m), a well-known high Himalayan pass lies in Annapurna Circuit trek. Once we inter from Manang Valley to Kaligandaki Valley at Muktinath, the caravan route further hike down to Lete, a tiny Thakali local village. From here, the Annapurna One Expedition caravan route separate from the circuit trek and heads to Annapurna One Base Camp via Thulobugin, Hum Khola (River) and Mistri Khola (River). After Annapurna One Expedition, you will back by the same way to Lete. Then you will drive back to Pokhara via Beni.

Our Annapurna One Expedition itinerary is tailored mostly inside the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA). Further, we guide you to and from base camp aiming to show you Annapurna Himalayan ecological beauties during the hiking time. Enjoy with the natural beauties, floras and faunas!



Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350M/4425FT) (A)
Showing your name board, our airport representative waits in Kathmandu International Airport (TIA). You transfer to hotel, check in and free time. Have enjoy!

Day 2: Trip Final Preperation in Kathmandu (A,B)
In the morning, generally at 8 am, Eco-friendly Treks staff come to meet you at your hotel. Please manage to be there at lobby with: (a) your original passport to prepare necessary adventure eco holiday permit/s from the concerned authority,

(b) a couple of same passport size photos for permit/s and,

(c) Trip final full payment. The staff introduce you with your trip guide at the same time. You have time to interact with your
guide, he may check and suggest your trip equipmment and packing for the trip on your interest, please tell us if you like this. The rest of the day, you may buy or hire additional equipment and packing (if necessary). Then, you rest for acclimatization and
final preperation for the trip. If you like any additional program for the day, please inform us at the time of mail corresponding.

Day 3: Kathmandu-Pokhara Drive or Fly (914M./2996FT) 7hrs. (A,B,L,D)
Drive 7 hrs. from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m). You can take 25 min. flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara instead. Alternatively we can drive to Tatopani and to shorten the trek by 2 days.

Day 4: Pokhara to Nayapool 2 hrs. (1050M/3442FT) and Tikhedhunga Trek 5 hrs. (1577M/5169FT) (A,B,L,D)

Drive 2 hrs. from Pokhara to Nayapool (1050m). We trek 5hrs from Nayapul to Tikhedunga (1577m) via Birethanti (1065m) teahouse/lodge accommodation full board.

Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani Trek. (2675M/8768FT) 6 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
You trek 6 hrs. from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2675m).

Day 6: Ghorepani-Poonhill-Tatopani Trek 5hrs (1050M/3442FT) (A,B,L,D)
Before starting 5 hrs. trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani (1050m) you will be taken to Poon Hill (3232M/10594FT) to view all panoramic view of Annapurna (8081m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Fishtail etc with golden sunrise.

Day 7: Tatopani to Ghasa Trek 6 hrs. (2010M/6588FT) (A,B,L,D)
Trek 6 hrs. form Tatopani to Ghasa (2010 m). The trek follows the Kali Gandaki valley; you will enjoy a beautiful day’s walking along the Kali Gandaki riverside, slowly climbing into sub-tropical flora zone.

Day 8: Ghasa to Lete Trek (2480M/8129FT) 5 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
You trek 5 hrs. from Ghasa to Lete (2480 M) teahouse/lodge accommodation full board.

Day 9: Lete to Thulobugin Trek (3260M/10686FT) 4 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
Trek 4 hrs. from Lete to Thulobugin (3260 M)

Day 10: Thulobugin to Hum Khola Trek 6 hrs. (4286M/14050FT) (A,B,L,D)
Trek 6 hrs. from Thulobugin to Hum Khola (4286 M) via Topridge (4570m).

Day 11: Hum Khola to Miristi Khola Trek. 5 hrs. (4130M/13538FT) (A,B,L,D)
Trek 5 hrs. from Hum Khola to Miristi Khola (4130 M) overnight in our tented camp full board basis.

Day 12: Miristi Khola to Annapurna One Base Camp Trek (4190M/13734FT) (A,B,L,D)
Today you reach in the main base (4190m) for Annapurna Expedition via trek from Miristi Khola for camping.

Day 13-42: Annapurna Summit Climbing Period (8091M/26522FT) (A,B,L,D)
These days are the major climbing days for you to ascend the summit of most awaited Mt. Annapurna. After some day’s acclimatization and exercise you will be taken to the higher camp to be closer to the summit of (8091m) where you will be provided food for high altitude. We are allowed to trek from lower to upper camp or vice versa for more practice and acclimatization. Finally we wish for your success to reach in the summit. Here you get full board service with tented camp accommodation.

Day 43: Trek down from base camp to Miristi Khola (4190M/13734FT) 4 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
After a successful summit of Mt. Annapurna (hopefully), you will be taken back to via trek 4hrs from Base Camp to Miristi Khola (4190m) overnight in our tented camp full board basis.

Day 44: Miristi Khola to Thulobugin trek (3260M/10686FT) 6 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
You trek back 6hrs from Miristi Khola to Thulobugin (3260m) overnight in our tented camp full board basis.

Day 45: Thulobugin to Lete Trek (2480M/8129FT) 4 hrs. (A,B,L,D)
You trek 4hrs from Thulobugin to Lete (2480m) teahouse/lodge accommodation full board.

Day 46: Drive to Pokhara via Beni (A,B,L,D)

Day 47: Staty Pokhara (A)

Day 48: Pokhara to Kathmandu. (915M/3000FT) 5 hrs. (A,B,L)
Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. If there is enough time then go for the exploration of local markets and shopping. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 49: Spare Day (A,B)

Day 50: Transfer for Final Departure (B)
This is the day that we are really missing you. We transfer you to the airport or any port for final departure or alternatively join other activities.
