Avalanche Accident Everest 2014
18 April 2014 is a tragedy day for mountaineering expedition history in Nepal. Due an avalanche in between Camp one and two sixteen Nepalese guides were killed. Till the date of 20 April, thirteen dead bodies had been recovered. According to the Everest Base Camp source published in different medias, the search for the three remaining bodies was called off due to the difficulty and risk of retrieving them. Among them, some Sherpa guides were angered by the meagre compensation offered by Nepal government to families of the victims which is really sad. Sherpa climbers are devoting their life for mountaineering tourism and country collect remarkable revenues from the mountaineering tourism.
With caring the situation as well as honoring their contribution in Nepal mountaineering, Nepal government is adding more compansation which is hopeful news in Nepal mountaineering.
Very good value for money spent. We all arranged and generally well managed.
