When I trekked the Kali Gandaki
River Gorge from Pokhara to Jomson in 1977, there were three guest houses: one
in Tatopani, one in Ghorepani and one in Jomsom. For the majority of the trek, we stayed with the
local villagers. We ate local food, accommodations were simple, westerners were
few. |
