Most workers have the right to
four weeks' paid holiday. If you are a part-time worker, a fixed term worker or
a worker in your first year of employment, you are entitled to paid holiday in
the same way as full-time workers. There is also no maximum age limit for
qualifying for paid holidays. There are some groups of workers who are not
entitled to paid holidays. |

An employee is paid salary and
holiday bonus, or is given holiday allowance during the holiday time earned by
the employee.
Employees are
entitled to 5 weeks of holiday each holiday year. The right to salary or
allowance during holidays is dependent on whether you have earned holiday time
with your present or previous employer.
An employee is entitled to salary and holiday bonus during holidays if he or she
is employed on a contract according to which the employer is obligated to give
at least one months notice of termination of employment, and which ensures that
the employee is fully paid during sickness and weekday holidays, and if the
employee is continuously employed from the year during which the holiday time is
earned to the holiday taken. Salary during holidays corresponds to the
employee's regular and anticipated salary when the holiday is taken.
