Day 01
: |
Drive from Kathmandu
to Pokhara (914m.) which takes about six hours. You depart for the six
hours drive to Pokhara (915m,), 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. As
you climb out of the Kathmandu valley, only to quickly descend again
to the Trisuli River, you follow upstream to its junction with the
Marsyangdi River. You follow the Marsyandi gently up through heavily
terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you
directly into Pokhara. Having pleasant weather, Pokhara is tourist's
paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such
as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains.
You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Taal
(lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. This
drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to
fall in love with its beauty.
You can also fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara
which takes about 25 minutes. |

Day 02
: |
Trek from Pokhara
(915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) by car which takes one and half hours
drive. Now you begin your trek from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tikhedhunga
(1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.) which takes about four and half
hours. After breakfast at hotel you could drive by car or van for one
and half hours to Nayapul. Then you start your trekking. The first
part of your trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and
settlements. Afterwards you could ascend gently to the final
destination of the day. The majority people here are Gurung and their
religion is Buddhist. They are engaged in agricultural activities,
tourism business and some in Gorkha and Indian regiments. |

Day 03
: |
Trek from
Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.) and it takes about six hours. To
begin your trek, you could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and
then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti,
Magar villages. On the way, you could see good view of Machhapuchhre
or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.)
South. Now your trail is quite easier passing through forest and
descends gently up to the final camp. You could see some of the wild
life such as monkey and various species of birds. |

Day 04
: |
Trek from Ghorepani
to Ghandruk (1950m.) which takes about 7 and half hours. Early morning
trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt.
Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha
Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.),
Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.),
Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous
snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Tadapani
(2650 m.). From Tadapani to Ghandruk, It is very easy trek by
descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other
kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of birds
chirping on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the
birds' lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft
centre and Gurung museum. From this village you could see good views
of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III
(7755m.) and Fishtail. |

Day 05
: |
Trek from Ghandruk to
Nayapul via Birethanti which takes about 5 hours. This day you trek
descend through Kimshe to Shaulo Bazaar. From here your trail goes
quite flat until you retrace back to Birethanti. You need to walk
almost half an hour to get to Nayapul. Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara
by taxi. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara. |

Day 06
: |
Drive from Pokhara to
Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. While
driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli,, Dumre,
Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to
reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you could enjoy the mountain
views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and
people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you
climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city.
You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
which takes about 25 minutes. |
Day 01 - Arrival in kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport
transfer to your hotel. Short briefing will follow concerning the
necessary formalities and your trekking itinerary. Depending upon your
arrival time you may spend free time visiting nearby sanctuaries or
resting.
Day 02 - Sightseeing / Cultural Day in Kathmandu Valley
Half day sightseeing around Kathmandu where your
guide will escort you on a tour of Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines
reflecting ancient local traditions. There is time to explore the city’s
many places of interest on your own or take a rest while trekking permits
are finalised. In the evening sample a delicious traditional Nepali
dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03 - Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m)
Your trekking guide will meet you at your hotel at
06:30 hrs to escort you to the aiport, from where we take a plane to
Pohkara, which takes about 25 minutes of flighttime; this leaves more of
the day for exploring Pokhara. Highlights include a visit to Bhimsen
Mandir, a temple known for its erotic carvings, and perhaps boating on
Phewa Lake, famed for the Patale Chhango or Devi’s Falls.
Day 04 - Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge), to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m)
After breakfast at around 07:30 hrs drive to Naya
Pul (42km) by car via the large village of Lumle and walk for about 20
minutes to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. The trail follows the
main street of Birethanti, going through bamboo forests and past a large
waterfall and swimming hole. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the
trail reaches Sudami where you have lunch. After lunch, climb steadily up
the side of the valley, reaching Hile at 1495m near Tikhe Dhunga (4 hrs).
Day 05 – Tikhe Dungha Trek to Ghorepani (2850m)
Breakfast is served at 07:00 hrs. From Tikhe Dhunga
the trail crosses a stream on a suspension bridge near the camp site at
Tikhe Dhunga. The trail ascends a steep stone staircase (which has about
3300 steps) to the large Magar village Ulleri at 2080m. Above the village,
the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields. There is a
camp site for a rest and water stop one hour’s walk above Ulleri. The
trail crosses two sparkling streams before making a short, final climb to
Nangethanti where we stop for lunch. Thanti is a Nepali word meaning "rest
house”. In the winter the trail can be covered with snow. From Nangethanti
climb to Ghorepani at 2750m, from here we can see the spectacular panorama
of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Tukuche Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South,
Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Overnight
in Ghorepani (4-6 hrs).
Day 06 - Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m)
An early start and a 60-minute hike to Poon Hill
(3195m) leads to a brilliant spectacle: an unobstructed view of sunrise
over the high Himalayas. After spending about 40 minutes there, descend to
Ghorepani for breakfast before the trek to Tadapani. The trail leads along
ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deorali (2960m). Then
start the descend to Banthanti, leading to Tadapani (6 hrs).
Day 07 - Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m)
The Ghandruk trail descends steeply through forests
to the village of Ghandruk where we will arrive around noon. We will
overnight here so have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation
office and museum. As well as take time to explore this maze like village
(3 hrs).
Day 08 – Ghandruk to Tolka (1790m)
Today we descend from Ghandruk to the Modi Khola
river, which we cross by a suspension bridge. Our trail then climbs up a
stone staircase to the village of Landruk, a Gurung village at 1620 meter.
We will pass some unusual oval-shaped houses before ascending to the
village of Tolka on a long stone staircase (3 hrs).
Day 09 - Tolka to Phedi and Pokhara.
Today our trek leads us by a steep ascent to another
small settlement called Deorali atop a hill at 2150m. This is another
village then the one we passed on day 4, although they both have the same
name. From here we descend on a stone paved trail to the village of
Pothana (1990m) before reaching Phedi (950m). Arriving in Phedi
mid-morning, from where we take our private transport to return back to
Pokhara (4 hrs).
Day 10 - Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Breakfast, and then a quick drive to the airport,
which is a mere 4km from town. The journey by aircraft to Kathmandu takes
around 25 minutes. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 - Kathmandu
Departure from Kathmandu.
The trek program is – because of weather or unforeseen events – subject
to change.
Days 01 : Arrive at Tribhuwan international airport, Kathmandu, you
are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to
your hotel. Short briefing will be followed about necessary formalities
and rest of the program. Depending on arrival time you will have choice of
visiting nearby sanctuaries or have a rest day.
Days 02 : After breakfast we drive to Swoyambhunatha stupa has it
that Manjushree, found of Kathmandu valley, and discovered the lotus of
ancient valley lake on which site the great stupa of swoyambhunath was
later built. The omni sighted stare of Buddha greets visitors & residents
a like compassion. This is one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world,
which has been registered in UNICEOO heritage side. We then visit to
Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu durbar square situated the center of
Kathmandu where you can see the House of Living Goddess”KUMARI”
Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century,
big bell-big drams, erotic carving in old temple, old palace etc. We then
finally were sightseeing to Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar square is
one of the beautiful Durbars square in Kathmandu valley. It is very famous
for woodcarving, Metal works, Temples and Monasteries. Tour of Patan
includes tour of Krishna temple, Patan king’s palace, Golden temple and
much more.
Days 03 : You have breakfast being of the early morning before
7:00 AM. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200km), departure at
7:00 AM in the morning, approximately 6hrs away by tourist bus. You will
be arriving late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 O’clock. From the
Pokhara valley you can see one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas
in the world. The Annapurna and famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of
Machhapuchhare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and you spend
there will be the scenic highlight of your trip. You're free in Pokhara
valley also called "Magic Land" or Dreamland" of Nepal, to explore the
various interesting place as your own like boating in Fewa lake over
looking the region of Annapurna range of Himalayas. In the evening you
will prepare yourself for your trek to Ghorepani trek.
Days 04 : After breakfast we drive to Nayapul (42km) by bus via
large village of Lumle and walk about 20 minutes to Birethanti, a large
and prosperous town. The trail follows the main street of Birethanti,
going through bamboo forests and passes a large waterfall and swimming
hole. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the trail reaches Sudami
where you have Lunch. After lunch climb steadily up the side of the
valley, reaching Tirekhedhunga at (1491m). Along the way, various hamlets
offer ample camping possibilities but if Ghorepani is the objective for
the next day it is better to push on to Ulleri.
Days 05 : From Tirkhedhunga the trail crosses a stream on a
suspension bridge near the campsite at Tirkhedhunga. The trail ascends a
steep stone staircase to the large Magar village Ulleri at (2070m) above
the village where the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated
fields. There are magnificent more pleasantly through rhododendron and oak
forest. The trail crosses two sparkling clear two streams before making a
short, final climb to Nangethanti where our lunch will set. Thanti is a
Nepali words meaning "rest house" "Dharmasala". In the winter the trail
can be covered with snow. From Nangethanti about one hour trek, climb to
Ghorepani at (2850m) Arrive at the top of the Ghorepani pass and camp
there.
Days 06 : Wake up early in the morning at 5:30 AM and start to your
journey climb to Poon Hill (3200m) around 1hr to provide better
unobstructed views and sunrise over the high Himalayas. You can see a lots
of White Mountain peaks from Poon Hill. After sunrise, we will return to
our camp for the breakfast. After breakfast we climbing along the ridge in
pine and rhododendron forests to a top (3030m) then descend to at a second
pass also called Deurali, at (3160m). Then steep descent becomes more
gentle way to reaches Banthanti and stop for Lunch from Banthanti, the
trail follow the stream down to a bridge where the trails start climbing,
leaving the most high mountain forests and entering a field of cane,
making some ups and downs pass to a vantage point "Tadapani (2640m) that
offers a brief view of the mountains. Tadapani means, "Far water". The
village water supply is a long distance; it takes porters more than half
an hour to fetch a load of water.
Days 07 : The Ghandrung trails descend steeply from Tadapani,
through forests, a short steep descend among rocks lead to a stream
crossing, then the descent continues gently pass over streams. Ghandrung a
huge Gurung village at (1940m) is the second largest Gurung village in
Nepal. Ghandrung offer a superb view of Annapurna South, Gangapurna,
Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare. ACAP has visitor centre and an office in
Ghandrung and provides offers information about it activities.
Days 08 : From Ghandrung, we descends to the Modi river and climb
up to Landrung, another Gurung village then we continues walk to Tolka a
small settlement at (1710m) with several lodges along the trails. The
trails climb through forests alive with birds, fern and orchids in to a
huge side canyon of the Modi Khola. After crossing a stream on a
suspension bridge at (1690m), the trails climb Bichok (also known as Bheri
Kharka). The trails climbs through forests to a clearing on the top of the
hill at (2010m) where there are views of mountains can be see from Deurali
and break 1 hour for lunch. From Deurali all way is downhill to Dhampus at
(1580m). It takes approx. 2 and ˝ hour. The trails down through Pothana
pass a police cheek post. At Dhampus, you are rewards with great views of
the mountains that continue to improve as you ascend along the ridge. .
Days 09 : From Dhampus, all the way downhill through the village to
Phedi. Starting at an elevation of (1580m) in a village and then forests
that is so overgrazed that is look like a manicured municipal park, the
trail down steeply to the ridge at Phedi at (1080m). It takes approx: 2
hours treks catch our vehicles and drive to Pokhara. Our lunch serve in
Pokhara. After Lunch you are free as your own in Pokhara.
Days 10 : After breakfast scenic drive to Trisuli River till
rafting spot point. This River is very popular as access to the Prithivi
Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. After 3/4hrs rafting we
drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, rooms assigned and there will
be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.
Days 11 : Wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed
on a Nature Walk: This encounter on foot with the environment will
introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland
and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of
birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. Around 8:30AM
breakfast will serve. After breakfast we process on Elephant-back safari:
Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you
will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer,
monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal
Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Lunch will be
serving around 1.00 PM: After lunch we have Canoeing Trip: A traditional
dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view
aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to resort through
the Jungle. In the evening, Tharu Stick dance show: Farmers of the nearby
villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
Days 12 : Early wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then
proceed on a Bird Watching after breakfast luggage down and departure
around 9.30 AM to Kathmandu.
Days 13 : After breakfast drive to Pashupatinath. The holiest of
holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all
over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the
cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across
the riverbank. We then visit to Boudhanath stupa. Probably the largest
stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley the great stupa of
Boudhanath. Again the omni-sighted eyes of the Budha stare all the
directions. This stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists
predominantly. We then drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is one
of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is well known as Living
Museum. Old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple,
Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of
medieval Nepal. It is very famous for woodcarving and pottery products.
Then after we have short visit to Changunarayan temple. This is one of the
oldest Hindu temples in Kathmandu valley that exists in the valley dating
back to the 4th century.
Days 14 : After breakfast you will have some free time until the
time to leave the international airport for your final departure
