Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu
Height: 1320m Meet with representative of Eco-friendly Trekking at the airport. Drive to hotel.

Day 02 Kathamandu.

Day 03 Kathmandu-Pokhara
Duration: Drive-6 hrs, fly 30 minute

Day 04 Pokhara - Birethanti – Ulleri
Duration: drive 2 hrs and trek 4 hrs
Height: 2070m
Walk through the lush, green Modi river valley, pass waterfalls with plunge pools that invite you to swim. Ascend steep staircase to Magar village of Ulleri. Where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the valley below and the peaks of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Day 05 Ulleri - Ghorepani
Duration: 5 hrs
Height: 2850m
A gentle climb through pasture and cultivated fields. As the trail climbs higher, you walk up beside the cascading river through refreshing cool oak and rhododendron forest to Ghorepani.

Day 06 Ghorepani - Tadapani
Duration: 6 hrs
Height: 2660m
All the way south to the plains of India. Trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life. A short early-morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas, and to Tadapani for beautiful sunset views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare.

Day 07 Tadapani – Chhomrung
Duration: 5 hrs
Height: 2030m
The trail drops down from Tadapani, through dense rhododendron forest. From Ghandrung there are good views of the upper Modi valley. The route starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola, and continues up to the village of Chhumrung. Towering above the village is the mighty peak of Annapurna South, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley.

Day 08 Chhumrung -Himalayan Hotel
Duration: 7 hrs
Height: 2920m
We walk through the forest to Kuldi Ghar, before the route goes steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through riverside bamboo thickets along the base of the gorge. Then the track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Doban. We camp above Himalaya Hotel.

Day 09 Himalaya–Machhapuchere Base camp
Duration: 4 hrs
Height: 3720m
The track remains on the west bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley, and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine of the South Annapurna glacier and the Modi follows a deep cliff to the right. This is the site of Machhapuchhre base camp from which can be seen a spectacular panorama of mountains. We either camp here or continue northwest, staying above the glacial moraine.

Day 10 Machhapuchere- Annapurna base camp.
Duration: 3 hrs
Height: 4130m
The route begins on a broad grassy path, before climbing over lateral moraine and down to the beautiful ablation valley. We soon reach the British Expedition Annapurna South Face Base Camp (4234m.) The best views are probably obtained from the crest of the moraine, which we follow until it is cut through by the glacier flowing down from Himal Chuli to the north

Day 11 Annapurna Base Camp- Bamboo
Duration: 7 hrs
Height: 2300m Descend down after beautiful view of Annapurnas during the Sunrise and back down with good memories of trip along the Modi river path, which climbed going up.

Day 12 Bamboo – Jhinuwa (Hot spring)
Duration: 6 hrs
Height: 1400m
The trail passes the small village of Khuldi Gahr, before continuing through rhododendron and bamboo fields to the Alpine-style village of Chhomrung. Stony steps climb steeply to Kabre Chautara and soon after we turn off for Landrung, leaving the Ghandrung path dropping away towards the Jhinuwa.

Day 13 Jhinuwa- Pothana
Duration: 7 hrs
Height: 1900m After an easy descent to the Gurung village of Landrung, the trail crosses a pass before arriving at the tiny village of Dhampus, perched high on a ridge.

Day 14 Pothana - Pokhara
Duration: 2hrs walk & 1 hrs drive
Height: 960m It’s a short trek down to Phedi via Dhampus village with good views of mountains, where we meet the road and drive back to Pokhara with private transport.

Day 15: Full Day sightseeing in Pokhara

Day 15 Drive Pokhara-Kathamandu
Duration: 6hrs drive or 30minute fly.
Height: 1300m After trek can joins to other activities, Rafting or National park safaris. If not back to Kathamandu.
 

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport transfer to your hotel. Short briefing will follow concerning the necessary formalities and your trekking itinerary. Depending upon your arrival time you may spend free time visiting nearby sanctuaries or resting.

Day 02 - Sightseeing / Cultural Day in Kathmandu Valley
Half day sightseeing around Kathmandu where your guide will escort you on a tour of Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions. There is time to explore the city’s many places of interest on your own or take a rest while trekking permits are finalized. In the evening sample a delicious traditional Nepali dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03 - Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m)
Breakfast. Our Trekking guide will come to the hotel around 06:30 hrs to pick you up for a short drive to the airport from where we fly to Pokhara. At Pokhara we can enjoy an afternoon’s sightseeing on the lakeside and boating at Phewa lake.

Day 04 - Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge), and trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1525m)
After our early breakfast in Pokhara we will have an hour’s drive to Naya Pul we then commence our trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. We head up the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tirkhe Dhunga (4:30 hrs).

Day 05 - Trek to Ghorepani (2750m)
Today we spend a pleasant day’s walking, trekking through rhododendron and oak forests and across the Bhurungdi Khola stream before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti (2460m). After lunch in Nangethanti we head up to Ghorepani (2750m) (5:30 hrs).

Day 06 - Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m)
After an early start at around 04:00 hrs we will ascend to Poon Hill (3210m), this is steep climb, but not to hard and it will take us about 1 hour and leads us to a brilliant viewpoint, providing an unobstructed sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside and enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea, we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). We descend to reach Banthanti, before winding our way down to Tadapani (2540m) (6 hrs).

Day 07 - Tadapani to Chhomrong (2210m)
Dropping down from Tadapani Gurjung the route offers good views of the upper Modi valley. The path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We then arrive in the village of Chhomrong (2210m) which lies tucked at the very base of Himal Chuli. Chomrong is the last permanent settlement in the valley (5 hrs).

Day 08 - Chhomrong to Doban (2540m)
From Chhomrong the trail descends until Chhomrong Khola, then the trail begins a slow climb as we head up to our first destination – Sinuwa. We then proceed to Kuldi Ghar (2470m) about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs walking. The trek now enters the upper Modi Khola valley. We can expect snow from here on in the winter months (Dec-Febr.) We continue our trek going down to Bamboo through an uninhabited forest area, scattered with big rocks. From Bamboo the road will take us through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Doban (2540m) (6 hrs).

Day 09 - Doban to Deurali (3170)
After climbing 300 meters up we will first pas the Himalayan Hotel at 2840 meters. We then continue on to Hinko Cave (3100m) and then onto Deurali. During this day if we are lucky we can see interesting wildlife like deer, jackals and peacocks. Here we will also have great views of Machhapuchhare mountain (6997m) and you will understand why the translation of its name means fishtail mountain. In Deurali we will stay overnight (5:30 hrs).

Day 10 – Deurali to Annapurna Base camp
Today we climb on past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp (which isn't really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers spectacular views (5:30 hrs).

Day 11 - Annapurna Base Camp descend to Sinuwa
Today we follow our way back to Sinuwa, it’s more easy as we descend the most part of our route (5 hrs).

Day 12 - Sinuwa to Ghandrung (1940m)
From Sinuwa we continue to Chhomrong from where the trail descends through forests to Gurjung Khola and then the trail ascends slightly until Kimrong. Then we reach the top of the Deurali, from where it is an easy way to reach Ghandrunk. Ghandrunk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal; they have their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandrunk is one of the most famous destinations for trekkers known for its beautiful mountain views. (It is an easy reach from Pokhara or Kathmandu.) Our early arrival means we have the afternoon to visit the one of the Gurung Museum and explore the village (4:30 hrs).

Day 13 - Trek to Birethanti, Naya Pul; then drive to Pokhara (910m)
From Ghandrung it's easy walking, all down hill, to Naya Pul where our trekking ends (4 hrs). Our private transport to drive us to Pokhara about an hour away. Overnight at the hotel

Day 14 - Fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Fly back to Kathmandu by the early morning flight.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15 - Kathmandu
Departure from Kathmandu.

 

Days 01 : Arrive at Tribhuwan international airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Short briefing will be followed about necessary formalities and rest of the program. Depending on arrival time you will have choice of visiting nearby sanctuaries or have a rest day.

Days 02 : After breakfast we drive to Swoyambhunatha stupa has it that Manjushree, found of Kathmandu valley, and discovered the lotus of ancient valley lake on which site the great stupa of swoyambhunath was later built. The omni sighted stare of Buddha greets visitors & residents a like compassion. This is one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNICEOO heritage side. We then visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu durbar square situated the center of Kathmandu where you can see the House of Living Goddess”KUMARI” Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century, big bell-big drams, erotic carving in old temple, old palace etc. We then finally were sightseeing to Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar square is one of the beautiful Durbars square in Kathmandu valley. It is very famous for woodcarving, Metal works, Temples and Monasteries. Tour of Patan includes tour of Krishna temple, Patan king’s palace, Golden temple and much more.

Days 03 : After breakfast we drive to Besisahar by regular bus. We cross a long suspension bridge and enter the largest trading village of Khudi inhabited by the Gurungs.

Days 04 : The route follows the Marsyangdi River upstream, crossing a long suspension bridge and passing a beautiful, thin waterfall with a fine bathing pool. We ascend to the town of Bahundanda, which means ‘Brahman Hill’. There are good views to the north.

Days 05 : The gorge becomes narrower as we cross a cantilever bridge followed by a suspension bridge. We pass a few small settlements along the route and Chamje, the destination for the day, is one of them. Having traveled upstream, we observe many changes in the people, architecture and vegetation. Houses are now built of rocks, the vegetation is less tropical and the culture more Tibetan-like.

Days 06 : Leaving Chamje, the gorge becomes more impressive. We cross into the district of Manang and see more Bhotia people. These are primarily agro-pastor lists and the real trans-Himalayan traders of the region. The route climbs gradually to the town of Bagarchap meaning (butcher’s place). The houses here have flat roofs, indicating that there is less rainfall here than the south. There is a temple here worth visiting, and views of the Annapurnas and the Lamjung Himal.

Days 07 : Leaving Bagarchap, the valley becomes narrow and picturesque. The vegetation is temperate, broad-leaved forest. Koto is the main entrance for Nar and Phoo, which fall on the main circuit trail that is 20 to 25 minutes before Chame. There are hotels and private campsites.

Days 08 : The trek from Koto to Dharmasala gives a nice experience of walking through the dense forest and gorge of Nar Khola. We have lunch at Suti Khola because the water source is close and takes 3hrs. Walk from Koto. On the way, different kinds of birds can be observed.

Days 09 : The trail on this day passes through the flat pastures and the fossils of Khampa villages (Meta, Jhunum and Chyakhu) The villages are now used by Narbas as byres. Khampas were migrated from Tibet some 30 years ago and living here illegally for several years. Finally, they left the area in 2036 B.C.

Days 10 : The trip on this day is quite easy where the trail passes through beautiful landscape along with high cliffs and pastureland. The main entrance gate to Phoo is spectacular and the Mani walls and other Chhortens along the trail are interesting and beautiful. One can't expect that there is a village up here.

Days 11 : The trek of the day ends at the main junction from where the trail splits to Nar and Phoo. Camping site is selected just after crossing the Mahendra Pul that is situated at the bottom of the Nar and Phoo.

Days 12 : The trek this day is only 3hrs but it is steep up from beginning to the end.

Days 13 : This would be the hardest day so far because Kangla pass needs to be crossed. The trail is more difficult than those of previous days are. There is a high risk of having AMS (Altitude mountain sickness) due to the scarcity of oxygen. It is worthwhile to walk through the beautiful pasture, crossing beautiful snow capped peaks and Kangla Lake. From the top of the pass to Ngawal, it is steep down of about 3hrs walk

Days 14 : The mountain scenery is along this route is superb. Ngawal is a medieval village, with flat roofed stone buildings and ladders to reach the living quarters. Finally, we descend to the interesting village of Braga, which is the seat of the oldest monastery in the area. The Gomba is about 900 years old and belongs to the Kargyupa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and contains some unique works of art. Manang is 30 minutes from here.

Days 15 : This day is acclimatization day, which is best spent being active and climbing to higher elevations for views but returning to lower altitudes to sleep. Manang itself is in a spectacular location with many attractions. There are lakes, caves, moraine-hills, monasteries or local activities in town and visit HRA clinic that may be advice for any one going high for trekker’s safety.

Days 16 : Leaving mine village path goes up to Tyanki village. Life style here is much different than of other countryside like anywhere in Himalayas. With mud roof, Small window animal’s stable down and toilet in side with animals dung smoky kitchen, Dark whole house. Path goes up hill right hand side views with Annapurnas, Gungapurna and Tilicho pikes. Heading northwest views with Chulu west and east passing yak Kharka arrive at Ledar.

Days 17 : This day we trek to Thorung Phedi (4450m), which literally means “The foot of Thorung”. We walk slow down hill to river and climb up to Thorung Phedi or if time and feeling well can proceed on to high camp but will work out in situation.

Days 18 : This day we’ll cross one of the world’s highest passes. It will take us about 3/4-hrs to get to the top at (5416m), there is a small teashop, there are the prayer flags marking the top of the pass. From here there are views of the Annapurna range to the south and Mukut Himal bordering Dolpo to the West. The trail descends steeply over glacial moraine, which gives way to grassy meadows before we reach Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus. Holy water flows from the 108 carved spouts surrounding the Vishnu temple in a grove of poplars. Muktinath is also home to many ethnic Tibetans and holy Buddhists, who come here for the temple in which fire miraculously burns in a stream of water inside a small but very holy temple.

Days 19 : From Muktinath to Jomsom, we see people from Mustang, a restricted area to the north. Among their merchandise is the highly revered mollusk fossil called Shaligram. We will pass some ancient caves and see the impressive White Mountain that is the Dhaulagiri. We also transit at the significant town of Kagbeni, which is at a junction of 2 rivers and the north-south and east-west trading routes. We have lunch in Jomsom. After lunch we descend to Marpha, a lovely village of whitewashed houses and fertile fields.

Days 20 : From Marpha we continue down the Kaligandaki reaching the former Thakali trading centre of Tukche. As the trail continues, the Himalayan rain shadow blends into coniferous forest, and we reach the main river valley and Kalopani. From there we can see spectacular views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna then we reach at Ghasa.

Days 21 : A beautiful walk, with another transition into sub-tropical vegetation and the return of water buffalo, banyan trees and poinsettias. The trail follows the river through a narrow gorge and descends to cross a bridge near a spectacular waterfall, before winding through the valley to Tatopani. The hot springs that give the village its name provide the perfect opportunity for a good scrub.

Days 22 : This day we cross the Kali Gandaki River and then climb upto the Magar village of Shikha where we have lunch. After lunch we climb steadily all day, we leave behind the terraced fields and enter into thick rhododendron forest and village of Ghorepani for our overnight stay, Ghorepani meaning (Horse water) from here we can see the best views of sunset over the spectacular snow-capped Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna ranges.

Days 23 : Today the trail undulates through giant rhododendron forest and orchid colonies to the pretty Gurung town of Ghandrung, where the Annapurna range and Machapuchare (the Fishtail) dominate the mountain views, although glimpses of Lamjung Himal and the Manaslu range can also be seen further east.

Days 24 : From Ghandrung, we descends to the Modi river and climb up to Landrung, another Gurung village then we continues walk to Tolka a small settlement at (1710m) with several lodges along the trails. The trails climb through forests alive with birds, fern and orchids in to a huge side canyon of the Modi Khola. After crossing a stream on a suspension bridge at (1690m), the trails climb Bichok (also known as Bheri Kharka). The trails climbs through forests to a clearing on the top of the hill at (2010m) where there are views of mountains can be see from Deurali and break 1 hour for lunch. From Deurali all way is downhill to Dhampus at (1580m). It takes approx. 2 and ½ hour. The trails down through Pothana pass a police cheek post. At Dhampus, you are rewards with great views of the mountains that continue to improve as you ascend along the ridge. .

Days 25 : From Dhampus, all the way downhill through the village to Phedi. Starting at an elevation of (1580m) in a village and then forests that is so overgrazed that is look like a manicured municipal park, the trail down steeply to the ridge at Phedi at (1080m). It takes approx: 2 hours treks catch our vehicles and drive to Pokhara. Our lunch serve in Pokhara. After Lunch you are free as your own in Pokhara.

Days 26 : After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Along the way you can enjoy with good scenery views. You'll be arriving at Kathmandu late afternoon. You're free in Kathmandu for shopping.

Days 27 : After breakfast drive to Pashupatinath. The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across the riverbank. We then visit to Boudhanath stupa. Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley the great stupa of Boudhanath. Again the omni-sighted eyes of the Budha stare all the directions. This stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly. We then drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is well known as Living Museum. Old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. It is very famous for woodcarving and pottery products. Then after we have short visit to Changunarayan temple. This is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Kathmandu valley that exists in the valley dating back to the 4th century.
Days 28 :  After breakfast you will have some free time until the time to leave the international airport for your final departure.
