interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8152m,
Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. through the famous Sherpa
village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde Khumjung etc. |

Jiri to Everest base camp trek cover low land from Jiri to highland Kalapathar
5545m.
Most people
heading to the Solu-Khumbu region are intent only on getting a close-up glimpse
of Mount Everest and often take a plane into Lukla. However, the trail from Jiri
to Namche, though not long on mountain views, does pass through numerous
interesting villages that are now visited by a small number of trekkers each
