Langtang and Helambu

to explore villages and monasteries as well as to visit glaciers
at the head of the valley. A side trip to the holy lakes of
Gosainkunda at 4340 m. can be made from the destination of
thousands of Hindu pilgrims during the month of August. The lake
is also sacred to the Buddhists. |
