SAGA DAWA is the most important Festival in
Tibet commemorates Shakyamuni's Buddhahood & the death of
his mortal body. At every monastery sutras are recited and
'Cham' dances are performed.
Trek on Asia’s holiest mountain, Mt Kailash for the colorful
Saga Dawa festival and join devotees as they celebrate
Buddha's birth and enlightenment. Visit Lake Gaurikund,
where Hindu pilgrims take ritual baths, stay in monasteries,
join pilgrims in Lhasa and spend time in tiny Tibetan
villages. From the sky-high religions of Tibet, travel
across mountain ranges and wide plains to the buzzing
cultural city, Kathmandu.
Limi Valley is a land of eternally snow-capped mountains and
sweeping valleys. A land as eerie and forbidding as the
landscape of some distant moon, its people all but forgotten
by the rest of the world. Their lives are a struggle — the
alpine soil metes out sustenance grudgingly, and long
winters threaten to banish the warmth of life forever. Yet
these lives yield untold riches. As if the splendid
isolation and sheer altitude of the hidden
Himalayas bring them closer to the gods, the people of
this land are possessed of a spirituality few Westerners
will ever know.

Day 05 Fly to Simikot, Trek to Dharapuri -2400m.

Day 07 Trek from Kermi to Yalabang Gompa -3020m.

Day 08 Trek from Yalabang to Tumkot Khola -2800m.
Day 09 Trek from Tumkot Khola to Yari - 4300m.

Day 11 After breakfast trek half an hour to Sher
(Nepal - Tibet border), after finishing the immigration
formalities drive to Purang (Taklakot)-4000m and visit of
Lhama Yutok Gompa overnight at Purang Guest house. (A, B,

Day 12 Drive to Darchen-4600m the base camp of Mt. Kailash & overnight at Darchen Guest house. (A, B, L, D)
Day 13 Trek to Chhugu Gompa - 4600m. (A, B, L,

Day 14 Trek to Drira Phuk. (A, B, L, D)
Day 15 Trek to Zutulphuk crossing over the Drolma

Day 16 Trek for about 4 hours and drive to Tirthapuri (A, B, L, D)
Day 17 Drive to Toling (A, B, L, D)
Day 18 Drive to Tsaparang - ruins of Guge Kingdom,
Tunnel in the castle and drive back to Toling (A, B, L, D)
Day 19 Drive to Miser Chu (A, B, L, D)
Day 20 Drive to Manasarovar (A, B, L, D)
Day 21 Rest at Manasaravar and exploration of the

Day 22 Drive to Sher (3860m) Trek to Manepeme
