Days 01 : Arrive at Tribhuwan international airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Our guide will explain briefly the program upon arrival at hotel. Days 02 : After breakfast we drive to Pashupatinath temple. The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across the riverbank. We then visit to Bouddhanath. Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley-the great stupa of Boudhanath. Again the omni-sighted eyes of the Buddha stare all the directions. This Stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly. We then proceed on Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is well known as Living Museum. Old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. It is very famous for woodcarving and pottery products. Finally we visit another Vishnu temple of Changunarayan which is the oldest known temple existing in the valley dating back to the 4th century. Days 03 : Early morning drives to Barabise 800m and commence trek to Lungurpa. The first part of the trek about 20 minutes is flat and reaches to Sunkoshi temple and cross the suspension bridge to cross the Sunkoshi river. Then walk about half an hour through the field and steep climb for 1 hour through the Jungle to the village of Keurini where Chhetri people living. After crossing the village of Keurini climb to Gurung village of Bungathali. Then 45 minutes flat walk to Gurung village of Lungurpa. Days 04 : A 4-hrs gradual walks through the different village. Tungthali is settlement of Thami people. As soon as you arrive to Ghorthali, then steeper trail to Brimthali, which is the last village of the area? Days 05 : From Brimthali we walk Gradula climb and some places steep climb to Kalinchowk and then down hill to Kurikharka for Overnight camp. Kalinchowk (3790m) the best view point of the trek. The views of Rolwaling, Gauri Shankar, Jugal Himal and some peaks of Khumbu region, which are spectacular. Days 06 : All the way down hill through the rhododendron and oak forest to Gairikharka. Days 07 : All the way down hill through the pine forest and Sherpa village to Charikot then drive back to Kathamandu. Days 08 : After breakfast we drive to rafting starting point at Trisuli River. It takes approximately 2 hrs drive from Kathmandu. This River is popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. Lunch we'll be served after 2/3 hrs rafting in the riverside. After lunch we have raft again and we drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities. After dinner slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Days 09 : Wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed on a Nature Walk: This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. Around 8:30AM breakfast will serve. After breakfast we process on Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Lunch will be serving around 1.00 PM: After lunch we have Canoeing Trip: A traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to resort through the Jungle. In the evening, Tharu Stick dance show: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances. Days 10 : Early wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed on a Bird Watching after breakfast luggage down and departure around 9.30 AM to Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu. Days 11 : After breakfast we drive to Swyambhunath Stupa. This is one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNICEOO heritage side. We then visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu durbar square situated the center of Kathmandu where you can see the House of Living Goddess ”Kumari”, Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century, Big bell-Big drams, Erotic carving in old temple, Old palace etc. Finally we have sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar square is one of the beautiful durbar squares in Kathmandu valley. It is very famous for woodcarving, Metal works, Temples and Monasteries. Tour of Patan includes tour of Krishna temple, Patan king’s palace, Golden temple and much more. In the evening you're free to shop and pick up some last minute souvenirs. Days 12 : After breakfast we drive to Daksinkali to see the animal sacrifices. Daksinkali temple located at the foothills south of the valley is the most important venue of animal sacrifices to the goddess Kali. En-route we visit Pharping Monastery & Chovar Gorge. The Buddhist history says, Milerapa from Tibet took one night shelter in the cave, and accordingly blessed this monastery. Hindus have their version that it was Pancha Pandav who had visited this place. The Chovar gorge which god Manjushree to create the Kathmandu valley drained the waters of primeval lake. We then finally visit to Kritipur. The oldest Newari village, which is famous for local architect, then back to hotel. Days 13 : After breakfast you will have some free time until the time to leave the international airport for your final departure. |
