Dhaulagiri Trekking Testimonials Page
It was a great trip! The highlights were
Dhaulagiri Circuit (did both
the Magdi Valley and Kali Gandaki Valley Trekking), driving through bank of Trishuli River a well famous white water rafting river in Nepal.
At
Eco-friendly Trekking, Krishna and Narayan treated me royally. They are
wonderful people. I felt like a guest of the family, and their place is
as nice as you said it would be. The food there is excellent. I put on
a few pounds in spite of walking and riding. I stayed in one of their nicest
rooms overlooking the Himalayas. I especially enjoyed seeing the stars at night. The place
inside Annapurna Conservation Area is also
a bird
watcher's paradise - an unexpected bonus because I've always been into
birds. Luckily I had my binoculars with me.
We stayed at lots of different places over the course of our
trekking, but one
that I really liked and recommend was the
Jomsom Mountain Resort. It is in Kaligandaki Valley. The place has nicely set up on a hillside, very clean and private.
Everything you shared about
Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking was right on and
gave me the confidence to venture forth into an unknown land. Thanks
again for Eco-friendly Trekking!

Fantastic, brilliant, amazing! But it was much more challenging
than I expected. But staff made it possible to achieve. A wonderful experience
that I’ll never forget. Thanks to all involved from Eco-friendly Treks &

I would just like to say that this 23 day trip was excellent and a
credit to your organisation. The logistics handling is excellent & our guide
Tilak was excellent. Tilak was always helpful to my wife & very caring - an
excellent leader! Karsang, his capable porter, was also very thoughtful & helpful.
Please pass our thanks on to them.
We both made the Dhaulagiri Base Camp, French Pass, Hidden Valley and Thapa Pass for
our adventure trip interest & completed the trek in good spirits. Food
was good & leadership first rate.
I will recommend your trekking company to many others - well done!
We arrived back at our home yesterday but would like to still be in Dhaulagiri
Base Camp in the sunshine!

It was fantastic, spectacular, and very special, and very well
organized. Eco-friendly Trekking is a very good organization, with good people, the best
equipment and great food! I'm very glad that I chose you guys. Jit is a very
good guide. He was a real leader and in control of every situation. And he was
proud to work for Eco-friendly. He admires Richard and talked about him at least
three times a day. I'll recommend Eco-friendly Trekking where and when possible.

“The French Pass
after Dhaulagiri Base Camp was my
first challenge and is without doubt one of the most exciting things I
have ever done - the enjoyment surpassed expectations from start to
finish.
The
Hidden Valley itself
has stunning scenery.
The challenge is
well-organised and the guides are informative and so hard-working, they
ensure your safety and comfort at all times in such adventure
trip. The support and friendship
of like-minded people made this a memorable week. The sense of personal
achievement and in helping my chosen charity is overwhelming.
A fantastic trip of a
lifetime? Definitely…. but now I can’t wait to do another!!!”

My wife and I decided we would like to
arrange a trip to Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking Nepal in 2004, primarily
focused adventure high pass like French Pass and Thapa Pass. I
undertook a web search and found Eco-friendly Trekking's web site during that search.
I e-mailed Krishna and other companies that claimed to offer trekking services
in Dhaulagiri Round an inquiry with some questions. I quickly found that he was
far and above the most knowledgeable of the responses I did receive.
We eventually decided to engage him for
a 3 week private trip, entirely based on e-mail conversations. We are
generally adventure minded but it is always a bit unsettling to show up
in a place you are not familiar with at all and just hope that the
arrangements you have made and paid for will be what you expect.
Whatever fears we had were totally
unfounded. We were met at the airport and had an experience that was
everything we expected. The arrangements were what were promised, as
were the attention to our expectations. Krishna is a great traveling
companion, a great locator of adventure trekking in Dhaulagiri Nepal.
We would have no reservations about
recommending Krishna and his trekking organization naming Eco-friendly to anyone wanting to
trekking to Dhaulagiri Circuit.

My over-all
impression of Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking trip was very positive, but I have low standards. A bad
weathered day on the Dhaulagiri Base Camp is better than a good
day at work! None of the minor operational concerns were of consequence.
Your staff did a great job in a tough season. A gold star to our leader
for a great job. He made the trip when other leaders couldn't step up.
He went by example by putting in the long hours, setting fixed rope, and
humping the big loads. So what if he lacks some people skills, he's a
hard worker (Joking!)"
