The vision from the top of Lobuche East is beyond the belief. The panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Amadablam with its soaring ridges is a remarkable sight of the journey. Lobuche East Peak Climbing was first done on April 25, 1984, by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen. Lobuche east peak lies in 27˚ 57’ 30’’ N and 36˚ 47’ 35’’ E. the caravan route for Lobuche east peak is Lukla-Namche-Khumjung-Lobuche-Base camp.
This trip remains adventurous where you can experience snow capped sprinkling Himalayas along with waterfalls, rhododendron forest and many more. Along with nature this trip also helps to observe the culture, tradition and lifestyle of Sherpa people.
Along with peak climbing, this journey also helps in finding the inner journey of the self. Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1350 m/4428 ft) (A)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan international airport the representative from Eco-friendly treks will be there to welcome by holding name card waiting for you. We will then escort you to your hotel by private vehicle. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02-03: Preparation and official formalities at Kathmandu. (B, A)
Next morning we will be there for the meeting regarding your trip. We will introduce your adventure guide/leader as well as fellow climbers. If there is any confusion or questions regarding your Lobuche east peak climbing you may ask us at the meeting. The climbing leader will do final check of climbing equipments. You can spend rest of the day by doing shopping for your peak climbing or visit different world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.
Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2800 m/ 9184 ft) 45 min flight and trek to Phakding (2652 m/8700 ft) 3-4 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
After early morning breakfast you will be taken to airport for Lukla flight. After the 45 minute amazing flight above the snowcapped mountains you will reach to Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla. After we land to Lukla you will be introduced with our other crew members. Then we start our trekking through beautiful village until we reach Phakding. After 3-4 hours of short walking we reach to the Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.
Day 05: Phakding to Namche bazaar (3440 m/ 11283 ft) 5-6 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
After breakfast we walk through beautiful forest with pine trees and along Dudh Koshi River. After some hours of walk we will reach to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park which is enlisted as world natural heritage site in 1979 AD. Namche bazaar trekking takes you to the crystal of mountains which is shining in the distance which makes you overwhelming. After the adventurous 5-6 hours of trekking you reach to Namche bazaar.
Day 06: Acclimatization day. (B,L,D,A)
There are few destination options in Namche bazaar set aside for this day. We can visit the village of Namche bazaar which gives you the opportunity to see the culture and lifestyle of Sherpa people. We can also hike up to the hill to view the close view of Everest and while returning back we will be visiting the local museum. They display the flora and faunas found in the area’s native and also the history of Mount Everest region. Those who want to hike longer can also visit Khumjung village (5-6 hours of trek) where you can see Khumjung monastery. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 07: Namche bazaar to Tengboche. (3870 m/12694 ft) 5-6 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
Today we trek towards Tengboche. Upon reaching at Phunki we ascend toward Tengboche village which is famous for Tengboche monastery, ONE OF THE most significant himalayan cultural centre. Inside the Sagarmatha national park you can see many beautiful forests, nature filled journey and flora and faunas. If you are lucky you will also get chance to see the religious ceremony of Tengboche monastery. Overnight at Tengboche.
Day 08: Tengboche to Dingboche. (4360 m/14300 ft) 5-6 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
Today at morning we will visit Tengboche monastery and take picture of beautiful landscape. We then begin our trek by walking through rhododendron, birch and conifers forest in our path. After 5-6 hours of trek from Tengboche we will finally reach to Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 09: Acclimatization. (B,L,D,A)
Today we roam around Dingboche to acclimatize our body in this altitude. After breakfast we start our trek to Chhukung where we are surrounded with beautiful icy walls far in the distance. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 10: Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m/16207 ft) 5-6 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
We start Lobuche trek with the gradual climb to Duglha. Then we continue our trek to Khumbu glacier moraine. After trekking 5-6 hours then we finally reach to Lobuche with 4940 m of altitude.
Day 11: Lobuche to High camp (5400 m/17712 ft) 3-4 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
From Lobuche we trek towards Lobuche base camp and continue to trek through rocky moraine to reach high camp. On the way you can see the many beautiful panoramic mountains which evolve pleasure of senses and self mystical experience. Today our climbing guide will provide you training on peak climbing techniques. They also teach you the proper way to use the climbing gears while you are climbing the peak. It helps you to boost your confidence and increase the chance to ascending the summit successfully. Overnight at Lobuche east high camp.
Day 12: Summit day (6119 m/20070 ft) 8-10 hours. (B,L,D,A) Day 13: High camp to Pangboche. (3930 m/12900 ft) 8-9 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
After taking our morning breakfast we start our trekking from Lobuche east high camp. We reach to Pheriche and then continue our trekking to Pangboche. In the spring season we can see beautiful rhododendron forest full blooms and juniper forest on our path. Upon reach Pangboche we can visit the famous Pangboche monastery.
Day 14: Pangboche to Namche bazaar, 4-5 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
From Pangboche we start our trekking through forest to Tengboche. After trekking about 4-5 hours at nature filled trial we finally reach to Namche bazaar. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 15: Namche bazaar to Lukla, 6-7 hours of trek. (B,L,D,A)
The trial descends steeply to the Dudh Koshi River. After trekking about 6-7 hours we reach to the end of your adventure holiday and reach to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 16: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu, 45 min (B,L,D,A)
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long adventurous journey to Lobuche east peak climbing. After landing at Kathmandu we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 17: Transfer to airport to final departure. (B)
Your remarkable adventure holiday in Nepal comes to end today. Our representative will transfer you to airport as per your flight schedule.
