Pokalde peak is also (Dolma Ri) which is at 12 km South West of Mt. Everest. Standing at the altitude of 5860 m. Pokalde is also considering as one of the shortest and comparatively easy trekking peaks in the Everest region. Those holidaymakers who want to climb Himalayan peaks but do not have much experience then Pokalde Peak Climbing is a good choice for them. The Pokalde Peak Climbing was first ascended in 1953 A.D, April 15. The location of Pokalde is 27˚ 55’ 28’’ N and 86’ 50’ 09’’ E. The caravan route for Pokalde peak climbing is Lukla-Namche-Khumjung-Lobuche-Base camp. Besides Pokalde peak other prominent mountain peaks which can be seen from summit. It includes Makalu, Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Amadablam, Pumori and many other famous peaks.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m/4,264 ft) (A)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan international airport nepalholiday’s representative warmly welcomes you to Nepal. Then we pick you up to private vehicle and escort you to hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02-03: Pr-trip meeting, trip preparation and official formalities (B,A)
We arrange pre-trip meeting at your hotel and introduce your climbing leader/guide. During this meeting please ask if you have any questions regarding your expedition. Briefing at the Ministry of Tourism and your expedition leader will do the final checking of equipments. The rest of your time you can further explore and some shopping if needed in Kathmandu. Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) 40 min flight. Trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) 3-4 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
After breakfast we go to the airport for the flight to Lukla. While flying you can view the mesmerizing green and white mountains standing. Kathmandu to Lukla flight is one of the most beautiful because you will fly through surrounded high mountains and land to hillside. After landing we begin out trekking to Phakding. Trekking to Phakding takes about 3-4 hours and today you will gain 2652 m of altitude. Phakding holiday help you to explore the Buddhist monasteries which helps to transform oneself. Day 05: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) 5-6 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today you enter inside the Sagarmatha National Park and this park is enlisted as world natural heritage site in 1979. Your transformative holiday is going to be amazing by the mesmerizing view of Himalayan ranges, beautiful nature including flora and fauna. After walking 5-6 hours of trekking you finally reach to the Namche bazaar encountering the Sherpa culture, the main inhabitant of this journey. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 06: Acclimatization Day at Namche bazaar (B,L,D,A)
Today we are at Namche bazaar to acclimatize our body at that altitude. During acclimatization you should be active and do some hiking near the Namche bazaar instead be being idle. Namche bazaar is rich in Sherpa people where you can see their lifestyle and culture. You can also visit the local museum which displays the areas native flora and fauna as well as history of Mount Everest region. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 07: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) 5- 6 hours trek (B,L,D,A)
After breakfast we start our trekking toward the Tengboche. Tengboche is famous for the largest monastery of the Everest region. The corniced crest of icy Himalayan ranges makes you kind of happiness. We can visit the monastery same day to witness a religious ceremony. Overnight at Tengboche.
Day 08: Tengboche to Pheriche(4910 m/ 16104 ft) 5-6 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today you descend to and cross the Imja river and continue to descend to Pangboche along with beautiful flora and fauna. On the way to Pangboche you can see the old monasteries which cherish your holiday in Nepal. After some hour of ascent you will reach to Pheriche. Overnight at Pheriche.
Day 09: Pheriche to Lobuche (4910 m/16105 ft) 5-6 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today you do about 5-6 hours of trekking from Pheriche to Lobuche where you can see spectacular view of Himalayan ranges. After some hours of ascend you go to glacier and reach Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak-Shep (5140 m/16859 ft) 3-4 hours of trek, to Everest BC (5365 m/ 17594 ft) 4-5 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today you trek to Gorak-Shep which should be crossed by Lobuche pass (5110 m). We take a break here. After some hour of break we them climb to Everest base Camp (5364 m). After reaching Everest Base Camp you can see mesmerizing Himalayas, view of Khumbu icefall and glacier. Overnight at Gorak-Shep.
Day 11: Early morning hike to Kalapatthar (5550 m/18204 ft) 2-3 hours of trek and to Lobuche (4910 m/ 16105 ft) 4-5 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today your trekking start with early morning visit to Kalapatthar. Your 2-3 hours of short hike to Kalapatthar is amazing by witnessing the wonderful 30 degree views of Everest and other peaks. After some eye-catching view of Himalayas you then go back to Everest base camp and further moves towards Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day 12: Trek from Lobuche to Pokalde Base Camp (4400 m/14423 ft) 7-8 hours of trek via Khongma-La Pass (5535 m/18155 ft) (B,L,D,A)
You ascent towards base camp of Pokalde peak through steep trial and rocky section. After 7- hours of trekking you will reach to Pokalde base camp via Khongma La pass. There you can see beautiful mountains standing with pride which helps you to motivate more to climb Pokalde summit. Overnight at Pokalde Base camp.
Day 13: Trek from Pokalde Base Camp to High Camp (5000 m/16400 ft) 5-6 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today you trek through Kongma La pass (5535 m) from where you will see amazing view of landscape and Pokalde peak. Further trekking will takes you to the lap of many Himalayan ranges like Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and many more. Overnight at High Camp.
Day 14: Summit to Pokalde Peak (5806 m/19044 ft) and back to Chhukhung (4730 m/15514 ft) 8 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Day 15: Reserve Day for Climbing (B,L,D,A)
The weather may be unpredictable in Himalayas. So this day is reserved is any bad weather is occurred.
Day 16: Trek from Chhukhung to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) 6-7 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
You descent towards Tengboche today after early morning breakfast. You also get chance to interact with the local who are from generally Sherpa community. You will then descend along Imja River and reach Pheriche and continue ahead to Pangboche followed by Tengboche. Overnight at Tengboche.
Day 17: Trek from Tengboche to Monjo (2835 m/9302 ft) 6-7 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
Today your trekking takes about 6-7 hours of trekking to reach Monjo. To reach Monjo you cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass the Sherpa village. Overnight at Monjo.
Day 18: Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2840 m/9315 ft) 5-6 hours of trek (B,L,D,A)
You trek along bank of the Dudh Koshi River to descent down to the Lukla. On the way to Lukla you will also encounter the small villages. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 19: Early morning fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (B, A)
After the early morning breakfast you fly from Lukla to Kathmandu with the amazing view of snow capped peaks. After the flight land you will taken to your hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 20: Final Departure to Kathmandu International (B)
After breakfast, the representative of Nepalholiday will check out of the hotel. You will be then escorted to the airport through private vehicle.
