Mt. Pumori (7161 m) just lies 8 km west of Mt. Everest and is located in the Mahalangur ranges of the Himalayas. Pumori came from Sherpa language which means “the mountain daughter”. Climbers sometimes also refer Pumori as Dhaulagiri of Mt. Everest. Mt. Pumori is situated at 28˚ 00’ 54’’ N and 86˚ 49’ 50’’ E. Pumori expedition is first done b Gerhard Lenses in 1962 May 17. The caravan route if Pumori Expedition is Lukla-Namche-Khumung-Dingboche-Lobuche-Base Camp. The pyramid-shaped mountain summit presents a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lobuche and other peaks of the upper Khumbu region.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu international airport.
Our airport representative will be there at Kathmandu international airport to receive you displaying Eco-friendly treks name board outside airport terminal. You will then assist to the hotel by the tourist vehicle.
Day 02-03: Pre-trip Meeting, Official formalities and Final Preparation day in Kathmandu. (A,B)
We will host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel where we will introduce your adventure holiday leader and guide. Please ask any question about your trip if you have any confusion. Briefing at the Ministry of Tourism and your expedition leader will do the final checking of equipments. The rest of your time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and last minute purchase. Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2,804 m), 45 min flight. Trek to Phakding (2,601 m) (A,B,L,D)
An early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla for 45 minutes scenic beauty takes you to the Tenzing and Hillary airport in Lukla (2804 m). When you are landed to airport your guide will meet and introduce you to porters. We will then start our trekking to Phakding (2610 m) which takes about 3-4 hours of trekking.
Day 05: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) (A,B,L,D)
Today we start our trekking along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, exciting suspension bridge with prayer flags. Today you will also enter inside the Sagarmatha National Park and your trekking trial start to be steeper. After a while you will see the breathtaking views of landscape. After walking 5-6 hours of trekking you finally reach to the Namche bazaar. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 06: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar. (3,441 m) (A,B,L,D)
You will send a day in Namche bazaar to adjust to the high altitude. We will visit the village viewing the Sherpa people’s culture, lifestyle and beautiful Himalayas. We can also visit the Namche bazaar museum where you can see the history of Everest region and different species of flora and fauna. Overnight at Namche bazaar.
Day 07: Namche bazaar to Tengboche. (3,860 m) (A,B,L,D)
Today your trekking to Tengboche continues along the thundering water of Dudh koshi. You can also see magnificent views of mountains. After 5-6 hours trekking you will reach to Tengboche with the height of 3860 m. It is famous for Tengboche monastery where you can see the beautiful ornate wall hangings, 20 foot Buddha sculpture and different musical instruments. Overnight at Tengboche.
Day 08: Trek to Dingboche (4,350 m) (A,B,L,D)
From Tengboche your trekking trial drops to Debuche crossing suspension bridge on Imja River. On the way to Pangboche you can see thousands of mani stones. We will continue our trekking to Dingboche where we can see traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach this beautiful village. You are welcomed with many Himalayan ranges like Lhotse, island peak and Ama Dablam. Overnight at Dingboche
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche. 4350 m (A,B,L,D)
Today the trial continues along the Khumbu glacier. On the trial you will see stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits. We continue our climb heading to Lobuche and reaching here you will gain 4,350 m altitude. Overnight at Lobuche
Day 10: Trek to Pumori Base Camp. (A,B,L,D)
After walking about 5-6 hours we will reach the Pumori base camp, spending these nights at the base camp. Overnight at Pumori base camp. Overnight at Pumori base camp
Days 11-13: Rest & acclimatization day in Pumori base camp.
Today you will be at Pumori base camp to acclimatize your body to the existing environment. Visit Everest base camp as well. Overnight at Pumori base camp.
Days 14-31: Climbing Period. (A,B,L,D)
Day 32: Trek back to Pheriche (A,B,L,D)
Today we climb down to Periche. Overnight at Pheriche.
Day 33: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
From Pheriche we take slightly different route to Orsho, entering pangboche village. You will get opportunity to visit oldest monastery in the region. It is said that you can see scalp and bones of yeti. Leaving the mountains behind our descent takes is through Tengboche monastery. We arrive at Namche bazaar in afternoon after 5-6 hours of walking. Day 34: Trek to Lukla.
We return to Lukla where the trip after 5-6 hours treks. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 35: Fly back to Katmandu
On the scenic 45 min flight back to Kathmandu you will enjoy the glimpse of mountains. Upon arrival in Kathmandu we will transfer you in the hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 36: Leisure day in Kathmandu.
This is also a spare day in case the Lukla flight is delayed. You can also visit the different world heritage site of Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 37: Transfer to airport.
The adventure in Nepal comes to end today. A representative of Eco-friendly treks takes you to the airport for departure.
