Ranikot Hiking starts from the Kathmandu valley where we drive 22 kilometers to Surya Vinayak, Bhaktapur. It is our hiking start point where our trial starts towards Ranikot pass. You will then walk through dense forest breathing fresh air which makes you hike perfectly. As we go up towards Ranikot, we can see the amazing view of Kathmandu valley which makes you surprise. Himalayan ranges to far north, local peoples and peaceful forest make your hiking overwhelming.
Then our hiking continues to Panauti village. This village is a traditional and beautiful Newari town. In this village, we can see the beautiful medieval temples and other cultural wonders. Your hiking will come to ends here and we take the vehicle back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Ranikot and back to Kathmandu
07:00 AM: Pick up from hotel in Kathmandu. You will reach to Suryabinayak (hike start point) at approximately 35 minutes.
8:00 AM: After taking some blessing in Suryabinayak temple we start our hike to Ranikot village.
10:00 AM: Lunch in a beautiful resort with the amazing view of the snow-capped Himalayas and Kathmandu valley.
10:30 AM: After lunch, we start our hike down to Rayalay village where we can experience a rural lifestyle.
03:30 AM: After crossing the small villages and dense forest we reach to Panauti.
4:30 AM: We drive back to Kathmandu as we explore the old Newari town in Panauti.
