Is Rolwaling Trek difficult?
To complete the medium to strenuous Rolwaling Trek, you must be in good physical and mental health. This is a challenging hike that requires previous trekking experience. Rolwaling Valley Trek is a moderately challenging walk along the long Himalayan Trail.
When we first start, the landscape is very flat, with some sloping routes to follow as we climb through the breathtaking trees and go upward to higher ground. This trek has wide-open ascending pathways, glacial crossings, and snow-capped peaks. You will require some knowledge of winter survival essentials and experience with high-altitude trekking. This journey is more complex than those in the Khumbu or Annapurna regions, requiring good physical conditions and cold weather gear.
Rolwaling Trek Permit
A permit and a guide from an agency are required to trek there because Rolwaling is a restricted region(at least to cross Tashi Lapcha). The peak permit is automatically applied to the package because most trekkers also climb Parchamo. After all, it is pretty simple from the pass.
Talking about the Rolwaling trek Permit, you need to get the Gaurishankar Conservation Area Permit.
Every permit and fee you pay to the government will help to preserve the Khumbu region and promote local development.
Note: You will usually be asked to submit passport-size pictures when preparing official documents. So make sure to bring at least 8–10 passport-size pictures.
