You will start your Annapurna family holiday at the Australian Base Camp, which is situated at an elevation of 2,000 meters (6,561 feet). We set off around 5 a.m. to catch the breathtaking sunrise from the summit. Cruising alongside the lakeside, passing Damside and Birauta, we eventually arrive at Chorepatan.
From there, we veer left and begin our leisurely hike. The path, smoothly paved, allows us to soak in the picturesque views of landscapes and scattered dwellings, leading us to a grand white stupa atop the hill.
The stupa stands magnificently, enhanced by the captivating backdrop of hills, mountains, and the serene Fewa Lake. After a couple of hours of sightseeing, we indulge in a delightful breakfast while savoring the mesmerizing scenery before descending back to Chorepatan.
The area offers a plethora of attractions, including Devis Fall and Gupteshwori Cave. Additionally, we may choose to explore the Mountain Museum, which vividly narrates the history of mountaineering and showcases the diverse cultures of ethnic groups.
Today we will engage in a full day of sightseeing in Pokhara. Explore the city’s myriad attractions, from the tranquil shores of Phewa Lake to the sacred Tal Barahi. Visit the fascinating International Mountain Museum to immerse in the history and culture of mountaineering in the Himalayas. It is also a great experience to wander through the bustling streets to discover local markets and vibrant cafes. You will say goodbye to Pokhara’s serene landscapes and head to Kathmandu. Pass through a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside, tracing your route back to Nepal’s capital city.
