Return Via Mirsa Homestay and Tatopani

Mirsa Homestay

You can stay at Mirsa Homestay while returning from Khumai Danda Trek. You will need to take different routes from viewpoint while crossing the dense forest during the trek. You will not get any proper rest camp or teahouses until you reach Mirsha village. There is only 1 small hut-like house where there is no proper food and staying facility. After walking 5 to 6 KM then you will reach Mirsha village. So, it is advised to take a guide and sufficient food or dry snacks, if you are taking this route.

  • Stops at roadside eateries provide a chance to taste authentic Nepali food.

  • Private vehicles allow for detours to attractions like Bandipur or cable car rides to Manakamana Temple.

Cons

  • Delays are common due to landslides or construction during monsoon seasons.
  • Motion sickness is a concern for some travelers.
  • Long hours in a vehicle can be exhausting, especially for those unaccustomed to such journeys.

Pros and Cons of Traveling by Air
