Basanta gained his Master’s in Tourism and Hospitality from Tribhuvan University (TU). He also holds a government-registered trekking guide license. He has been working in the tourism field since 2011. During the Nepal holiday, he guides, writes blogs, and helps travelers reconnect and reawaken in the Nepal Himalayas.

Basanta is a traveler who dedicates his life to the tourism industry. He was born and raised on the lap of the Manaslu and Gosainsthan ranges, where the value of mountains was instilled in him.
